Each fall, WFPSE hosts an organizers retreat at peaceful Camp New Hope in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Annual Organizers Retreat brings together activists, organizers, students, and allies to network, learn, socialize, and relax.
Community leaders facilitate workshops on community-level organizing and mobilizing, policy training, how to do solidarity work, the interplay of power and privilege, and how to work for effective and sustainable change. Attendees gain valuable skills to work for social change in their own communities.
Time is set aside for attendees to reflect on the work they do, share food and stories with other attendees, and enjoy music and a bonfire at the New Hope Retreat Center.
Join us for a weekend of skills-training, networking, and relaxation!
